• When lighting the fire again, trim the wick beforehand each time. This will help avoid soot and unpleasant odors in the first seconds of burning.
• The candle must not be blown out. To extinguish it, you must use either the candlestick lid or a special cap. When blowing out, the wick will smoulder, and the room will quickly fill with the smell of burning.
• It can be difficult to light the wicks if the candle is not new or is in a tall glass. In this case, it is convenient to use a long lighter or special matches for candles.
